Jessica Rabbit

Jessica Rabbit

1999 Honda CBR F4
(XXXX Red)

599cc Inline Four
6 speed transmission
'03 F4i Split Seat Tail
'03 954 Brake System

Named by the previous owner's 7 year old daughter over its curves and red paint (and after a very sheepish question of whether I would keep calling her that from a very good dad keeping a promise), Jessica Rabbit is an example of Hondas final carbureted sport bike. Offering up a modern style aluminum frame for the first time, and computer controlled ignition side by side with individual carburetors, the F4 still offers up a competitive sport bike experience almost a quarter century after it was released.

Jessica Rabbit is an interesting restomod, coming into the fleet already boasting the Two Brothers Racing carbon slip on exhaust and the incredibly rare complete '03 CBR F4i split tail conversion. Originally built with a single "banana seat", this complete swap  (bodywork, seats, lights, and full metal subframe) make this look like a clean factory design. The engine remains stock with over 20k miles except for the aftermarket exhaust and stage 2 jet kit. Redlining at 13,500 RPM, the Honda four screams like half a carbed F1 engine when pulling away. Power is as Rolls Royce states "adequate" at 105hp in stock configuration.

Comfortable ergonomics (for a sport bike), impeccable Honda Engineering, and a custom sprung and valved three way adjustable suspension make Jessica Rabbit a positively thrilling analog experience.
